Individual in this position need to support Assistant Mason & Mason which are at level‐2 and level‐3 in semi‐skilled and skilled category for carrying out the related works such as shifting of materials, handling tools, tackles and housekeeping. The responsibilities include site development & clearance, provide support for laying of bricks & blocks, mortar & cement concrete mixing, rendering coat plastering, help in setting & layout, knowing importance of scaffolding and have the basic knowledge in the environment, health, safety pertaining to the trade.
Individual in this position need to work as helper category tradesman and perform tasks under continuous and close supervision of Assistant Painter & Decorator Level‐2. He is expected to handle shifting and storing of materials, handling tools & tackles relevant to painting including site development & cleareance, support in identification and preparation of paints and surfaces, mixing of colours & paints and the housekeeping activities. He should ensure trade specific compliance to environment, health and safety aspects.
The job role is responsible for shifting, preparing surface of heavy structural steel/ RCC precast units, laying concrete pump lines, assisting in erection of staging for heavy RCC structures and pile foundation works by using appropriate rigging gears, hand tools and PPEs at construction or erection site.
The individual at work charges the recommended extender, pigment, resin, additives and solvent in the premix unit, then disperses the premixed material in grinding units such as ball mill, bead mill, attritor and sand mill, to achieve the required fineness/ smoothness, before letting down the mill base in the mixer. The remaining raw materials are added in the mixer and the final properties of the paint adjusted, as per specification.
Mason Concrete is responsible for performing routine concreting works in various structural elements. The work involves placing, leveling and finishing both RCC and PCC in various structural elements, in situ and in pre cast units. This also includes repairing of concrete and carrying out IPS/Tremix flooring.

Mason General is responsible for performing routine masonry works such as brickwork, block work, laying paver block sand random rubble masonry works. It also includes plastering with simple finishes by using appropriate tools and equipments and as per the specified standards with dimensional accuracy. The individual is also responsible for IPS &Tremix flooring works and cementatious waterproofing works.
Mason Marble, Granite & Stone is responsible for laying and fixing of marble, granite & other natural stone for flooring and cladding works requiring specialized skills. The work involves identifying, cutting, shaping, laying, fixing and finishing the various stones on different surfaces using appropriate tools and equipment as per specified standards, pattern and within dimensional accuracy.
The job role is responsible for various types of finishing works on walls, floors, ceilings and other surfaces such as ornamental, exposed grit/aggregate wash, cement washing, stone-creting, POP plastering and various flooring works to create decorative surfaces as per specifications and drawings.
Mason Tiling is responsible for performing tiling work requiring specialized skills. The work involves identifying, cutting, grinding, shaping, laying, fixing and finishing the tiles on floors, wallsusing appropriate tools and equipmentand as per the specified standards, patterns and within dimensional accuracy.
This job role is responsible for preparing asphalt manually, applying adhesive and protective coatings to the pavement layers. Individual is also responsible for shifting and laying pipes, accessories for road drainage systems.
The individual at work assesses the environmental conditions which the substrate has to withstand, prepares its surface, and then applies protective as per company’s standards or customer’s requirements.
Reinforcement Fitter is responsible for fabricating and fixing reinforcement for complex structures such as arches, domes, and circular structures in a sequential manner to meet works requirements within specified time and tolerance. The individual also works with mechanical couplers for extension of rebars. The individual should possess good factual knowledge, and shall be able to maintain safe and quality work practices.
