A Group Farming Practitioner is responsible for participating in the formation of group of common interest farmers, structuring it into model group farming based on local conditions, adoption and practicing latest techniques of farming. The person is also responsible for enthusing the group to initiate formation of Farmer Producer Company.
The individual at work sets up the harvesting machine for day’s work by conducting pre-start procedures, operate the machine to harvest the crop, perform machine shut down procedure, does its day-to-day maintenance and takes up basic repair of the harvesting machine to keep it operational during critical harvest time.
The individual at work receive and grade eggs, manage incubation practice, grade and pack chicks, estimates and organizes required resources, maintain equipments; building and environment for hatching chicks according to market’s standards.

A Layer Farm Worker is responsible for feeding, watering and ensuring general well-being of birds and ensuring that the shed/housing of the birds is clean and safe and that the farm is in a proper condition to carry out layer farmingand production of eggs
The individual at work undertakes the cultivation of maize crop at the farm level. The individual is also responsible for harvesting the maize crop. The maize cultivator needs to adapt recommended practices for a particular agro climate zone, type of soil, rainfall pattern and climatic conditions to achieve the best possible yield.
The individual at work is responsible for cultivating mangoes as per the recommended practices for a given agro economic zone and achieve the expected yield. He is also responsible for hygienic harvest and post harvest of the mango crop and ensuring sale of the same.
The individual is responsible for using various equipments, choosing the appropriate crafts and methods, to catch fish and marine life.
