The individual at work prepares refrigeration equipment maintenance schedule checklist and monitors its preventive maintenance. The person is also responsible to oversee service and repair of cold chain equipment like condenser, compressor and evaporators, provide manpower and material resources to maintenance technicians, train plant engineers on handling and maintenance of refrigeration equipment
Gives “On Job” instructions to his team apart from undertaking Procurement & Provisioning, Maintenance, inventory management and Warehousing related tasks. For details refer Annexure - IV

Shipment Bagging Agents are also known as Consignment Baggers. Individuals in this role, who work in service stations and hubs, are responsible for bagging and de-bagging shipments and tagging them with bar code stickers. They are a key part of the operations as shipments have to be bagged and labeled for transportation.
Shipment Classification Agents are also known as Classification Executives. Individuals in this role, who work out of corporate offices, are responsible for updating the system with pre-clearance documentation and creating the Bill of Entry/Shipping Bill. They are a key part of the clearance team as they perform a vital role of classification of shipments according to their type and document the same.
Shipment Query Handlers are also known as Contact Center Executives. Individuals in this role, who work out of customer care centers or corporate offices, are responsible for providing customer service support over the phones and re-directing the calls to the concerned department, or to the Delivery Management Cell. They are a key customer-facing role in the courier subsector.
The individual operates pipeline for loading/unloading of cargo, cleans tanks, and monitors tanks for liquid level, pressure, emergency alarms etc.
The individual manages one or more tank farms, monitors overall operations and coordinates with customs, ports, clients, shippers, government agencies, regulatory authorities, etc. S/he is also responsible for safety and security of the cargo and infrastructure of the tank farm.
The individual supervises tank farm operations related to resource allocation, inspection, compliance to regulation, documentation and performance. S/he is also responsible for conducting trend analysis to prepare forecasts and maintenance schedules.
Transport Consolidators are also known as Transport Order Mergers or Consolidators. Individuals in this role typically consolidate smaller or numerous loads/orders according to destination that pass through their station or hub into outbound trucks for final delivery.
Transport Cordinators are also known as Transport Controllers or Route Coordinators. Individuals in this role are responsible for monitoring all consignments in real time, identifying and rectifying problems and confirming that the customer has received the order.

Starting his service career with at 10+2 level, on completion of 15 years of service in IAF, he is treated as an Humanities Graduate as authorised vide: GOI/DOPT/15012/8/82(Est-D) dated 12 Feb1986. Undergoing a knowledge up-gradation course called Warrant Officer Leadership & Management course approximately at 20 years of service, he is equipped to function as a senior level manager. Apart from the functional responsibilities of his trade related activities, he is also responsible for HRM activities such as mentoring, training and development of his subordinates, Staffing and Deployment, as overall administrator of the section, as Financial Manager/Fund Controller of his section. In general he is the role model for his subordinates to learn and follow.
The individual performs basic deck and engine operations in the vessel like watch out duties, cleaning, basic rope work, painting, greasing and basic fitting activities etc.
