The individual operates different agro machineries viz. hammer mill, ground nut decorticator, mini dal mill, mini rice mill, mini oil expeller, grain cleaner, micro pulveriser, etc. Undertakes pre-processing activities in cereal grains. Prepares products from different food grains soya products checks the quality parameters for raw materials finished products.
The individual will be able to impart theoretical instructions, demonstrate practical skills, evaluate and grade trainees of Agro Processing and related trade in industrial workshops, ITIs/Vocational Training Institutes etc.
A trainee of the trade 'Agro processing' is responsible for the pre-processing, preparation and packaging of whole pulses, cereal-based products, spice powders, oil from oil seeds, rice, and soya products. The trainee also operates agro processing machinery.

A Baking Technician / Operative is responsible for baking of products, maintaining their consistency and quailty, while meeting defined SOPs and leveraging his/ her skill to operate ovens in synchronisation with proof box/ rest of the plant/ unit.

A Cold Storage Technician is responsible for handling installation of refrigeration system and components, refrigerant charging and storage of food in the cold storage room by maintaining storage parameters such as temperature and relative humidity in food processing units.
