Gets cloth cut according to paper patterns and gets sample garment stitched as required. Tries garment on model and makes changes in pattern, if necessary.

Finisher & Packer is responsible for monitoring production, quality and delivery of Packed products ready to dispatch while maintaining the quality parameters as per priority and specifications. The operation consists of finishing & packaging process activities from Checking, Ironing, folding, inner packing, outer packing, labeling, marking, inner layer etc. to finally packed in carton or as special instruction defined by buyer.

The Framer of a Computerized Embroidery Machine is responsible for preparation & setup of the embroidery machine for embroidery and carries out hooping & framing operations. The Framer is also responsible for removal of frame and fabric panel once the embroidery has been completed. While the embroidery is done through the computerized embroidery machine, the Framer needs to monitor the progress, and ensure the required quality of embroidery is achieved.

The Garment cutter should be able to take the fabric from stock, load the fabric and program the CAM to run the particular design. A garment cutter also removes the cut pieces off the conveyer belt and ensures cutting is done as per product requirements.

A Hand Embroiderer and/or an Addawala embroider decorative designs as per the tracings or customer requirements on fabric & other materials by hand, using needle & thread. The hand embroiderer uses a variety of sewing techniques to create different kinds of embroidery stitches & effects such as Cross stitch, French knot stitch, Bullion knot stitch, Shade work, Applique work, English Smocking etc. The job requires the hand embroiderer to have the skills to stitch a variety of stitches with precision and accuracy to obtain the desired look.

The course ‘HAND  EMBROIDER’ is meant for a trainee who shall be able to make decorative handicrafts, do embroidery at nick lines Yokes, Sleeves, kameez etc.
