● Assist in preparing Plumbing drawings (Water system cold, hot, sanitation & drainage.), ● Ability to address the risk and work on systems safety (assist to develop system set up to run properly, efficiently & safely) ● Install and repair (for waste, drainage, and venting systems) ● Install and repair plumbing fixtures (sinks, faucets, sanitary wares, toilets, etc.) ● Installation of Sensor Basin Faucet, study of internal parts such as Solenoid valve, battery box with battery. ● Installation of Advanced Pipes & Fittings in current used in Residential units, practices at par with American & European Standards. ● Ability to create Standard Operating Practices (SOP) to be followed during installation of pipes, Fittings and Faucets.
An Assistant Plumber - General assists the plumber in installation and repair of plumbing fittings and fixtures. The job role holder organises and hands over tools, clears work area, cuts and bends pipes as per the specified dimensions. The individual also supports the plumber with other tasks as per instructions received.
Install Water Connection, Water Meter, Water Pump & all types of sanitary fitting.
This unit deals in detail with the planning, construction and maintenance of simple water conservation structures for village dwellings, farms and communities.
Installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures. Fitting and repairing various household appliances. Cutting and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures. Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety and functionality.
Assistant Plumber identify & select the plumbing materials and fittings and performed work with safety following safety procedures with suitable PPE. cutting in wall as per drawing using suitable tools & equipments and filling the wall with same replaced material with new finish and select waste disposal place as categories. perform cutting, threading of GI pipes. Should be able to tighten the GI pipe line perform supporting activities on wall like drilling, nailing, clipping and hammering, fix Sanitary Pipeline, including gas pipe waste pipe line horizontally and vertically . fill mortar in the joints of RCC pipes (After fixing done by plumber) , handling sanitary bathroom fitting Knowledge about concrete mixture proportion, light weighed pipes with concrete and replace broken sanitary and bathroom fittings with new one, fix PVC pipes ,sanitary, Over head tank fittings , etc.
Plumber, lays out, assembles, installs and maintains sanitary fittings and fixtures, sewage and drainage systems, heating and sanitary systems, gas and water pipe lines etc. Receives instructions from Sanitary Engineer or Civil Engineerregarding lay out of pipes, gas or watermains, position of fixtures and fittings, etc.Examines drawings or other specifications regarding size and dimensions of area where sanitary fittings or pipe are to befitted or laid. Marks points at places toindicate position for fixing brackets andlaying pipes. Drills passage holes in wallsor floor of premises and fixes necessarybrackets, stands, holders etc. to keep orhold fittings and fixtures in position, usingnuts, bolts, clamps etc. and tightens them with hand tools. Cuts reams, threads and bends pipes as appropriate. Ensures that pipe lines are laid properly by Pipe Fitter.Joins pipes with sockets, Tees, elbow etc.or with molten lead or lead wool. Caulksjoints (operation of making joint, seamtight to withstand pressure) and tests them for leaks with pneumaticor hydraulic pressure. May repair and maintain sewerage and pipe linesby replacing washers on leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, opening cloggeddrains, etc. May do lead burning, dressing and bossing of lead pipe and sheet lead,inlaying of wooden tanks, construction of septic tanks etc.

A Plumbing Supervisor is responsible for planning, scheduling, organising and directing work. The individual also identifies plumbing requirements and assigns tasks to the workforce. The person ensures that the work is being done in compliance with the industry standards.
A Storekeeper - Plumbing Projects must be able to identify different plumbing tools, equipment, components, fixtures and materials and ensure their upkeep and availability. The individual should also be able to interpret their specifications and quality criteria and maintain necessary documentation.
