I was never a student of science. I studied Maths and Economics. I grew up abroad and went to some of the best schools. I knew how to distinguish between courses that were well marketed and those that were concise in their teachings. I scrutinized the actual content of different courses offered by various fitness institutions in India and abroad. I found that some of the most thorough courses in terms of technical knowledge and certification were the ones that were offered by the Sports & Fitness SSC. They tend to offer NCVET recognized certification, which helped me grow my career in fitness. NCVET certification is nationally recognized and gave me a sense of security.
I got training from the logistics sector skill council which is an awarding body affiliated to NCVET. I did training in Liquid Medical Oxygen Cylinder Driver which is one of the qualifications approved by NCVET. I got certified with a NCVET certification by the logistics sector skill council. Now I have a job based on the training completed there.
NCVET has been a facilitator rather than a regulator for the skilling ecosystem. It's been a game changer under the visionary leadership. We have received valuable guidance for the development of qualifications. LSC has had a very positive learning journey with NCVET.
It has been a great pleasure working with such a professional organization with a visionary leader who has transformed the vocational education and training ecosystem with NCrF. NCVET’s role has been pivotal in the evolution of the entire system.
“My name is Nungshirenba and I have been making bamboo and cane trays for many years now. Although we can make it everyday, we cannot always sell them in our market but through Skill India training program, I came to know that we can export them in bulk . I am very happy to be able to find new markets outside Nagaland."
“My whole family has been involved in the handicrafts business for a long time and we want to thank the government for bringing this skill program to our doorstep. I am confident that in future I will be able to generate a livelihood for many more artisans in my village."
My Name is Sajrat Bano . My educational qualification is Graduate. I heard about this training program from a friend who attended a campaign initiated by Srinagar Carpet Training & Marketing Center Pvt. Ltd. She told me that the govt. of India has launched a project named PMKVY and is providing proper training and requisite training free of cost. At that time I decided to join the RPL training. The training was so lucid and totally relevant to my job field. I get trained in the frame maker gold smith job role under the Handicrafts Sector. The trainers were fluent and they taught us well. They cleared every doubt that aroused in our mind by providing proper and relevant examples. The training was totally different from any other educational training due to its short duration and proper management. I think it could help people like us to get a job eventually.
